What started this mess?
In October of 2006, when our first child turned 1, my wife and I were talking about retirement and how we would just love to travel around the world full time. With our new baby, we sorely missed traveling to exotic new places. We joked that we should just dump the rat race and take off with our baby anyway and see the world. A year later, the joke became a quest and in September of 2007 we committed ourselves to the crazy idea of uprooting our lives and traveling around the world full time.Voyage in brief
Our plan is to sail away from the professional world sometime between December 2010 and April 2016. We expect the expedition to take years. We will go where ever the wind and our interests blow us. For us, it won't be about sitting on a boat doing nothing and drinking adult beverages ... it will be about exploring the world!Join Us!
